The Laurel Woods Trail Beginning at the Highland Trailhead, the green Laurel Woods Trail winds through the hollows and ridges of the backcountry of Beaman Park for 12.5 miles and around 6 hours. Visitors can also cut the hike short by taking the orange Shortcut Trail, decreasing the hike to around 3.5 hours and 7.5 miles.
